Laser Printers

In this day and age, printing is one of the most widely used techniques to present data that has been digitally created. It’s become an intrinsic part of people’s lives at it enables them to keep a record of their work, and is very convenient. Multifunction laser printers are a category that is well received by offices and small workgroups alike.

Like all printers, these have its advantages and disadvantages, however the former significantly outweigh the latter. The main benefit of multi-function printers (MFP’s) is that it combines additional devices that you may not have purchased. A multi function printer combines all the features of a fax machine, telephone and printing in to one unit, and is hence very convenient. Which leads us to the second point; because it is an all-in-one device, it saves cost and space.

Multi function printers built with LED technology are efficient, and offer fast print speeds. The main benefit behind these multifunction printers is probably its efficiency and speed at printing. In fact, laser printers are also known as 'page printers' as they print documents a page at a time, and thus perform at a very fast rate. Laser printers are  highly optimized and even offer user-friendly options such as self-printing, where printing can be accomplished without supervision. This adds to the productivity of the workplace.

When compared with other printers, laser printer MFP’s are more expensive. This is natural because more than 3-4 devices are packed into one unit. However, the long term running costs are lowered because you’re performing more than one function at the same time. If your multifunction printer develops problems, you risk losing access to the other office functions.
